ASJ Turns 3!

Our sweet baby girl turned 3! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, WHERE DOES THE TIME GO? I remember her 2nd birthday so clearly, like it was yesterday, and low and behold, we're onto number three!

Here are a few of Addison's "faves" now that she's a big girl, and can voice her opinion on just about everything and anything. :) I've also created a video montage of her third year, for your viewing pleasure! It's about 10 minutes long...I just couldn't cut it down!

Addison's Favorites.....

Food... Turkey Sandwiches (bread, turkey, mayo, but hold the cheese!)
Drink... Apple Juice
Sweet... Ice Cream, Chocolate Chip Cookie or an occasional "Dum-Dum"
Fruit... Blueberries or Grapes
Vegetable... NOTHING! Well, maybe lettuce if it has caesar dressing on it.
Book... It fluctuates, but right now it's Harry the Dirty Dog, or Angelina Ballerina
TV Show... Little Einsteins or Max & Ruby
Movie... Mamma Mia (it's at Nana's house, and she knows the words to several songs!)
Activity... Anything "art" related, dancing or gardening (shoveling dirt or mowing the lawn with Daddy!)
Song... Little Bird (Elizabeth Mitchell)
Outfit... Pink "guitar" dress, with purple polka-dot leggings
Stuffed Animal... The infamous "Ducky"
Phrase or Saying... "Well, Good Morning Little Man!" or "How Not, Mommy?"
Hilarious things she says... "Come here my little child!" She also always refers to her brother as "Little Man"

Shoes, Cords and Sippys

Will's favorite things...
Shoes, Electronic Cords, and his sister's sippy cup.
We constantly find him gnawing on shoes. Ewwwwww!
Cords...maybe he's going to be techy?
Sippy Cups....not his own cup, it MUST be Addison's because he's figured out there is usually apple juice in it!

Cruisin'

Will is absolutely EVERYWHERE. He's cruising along the couches, pulling up on the window sills, and into everything! Mark my words, he will be walking before he's 1 yr. old! He also cut two teeth, on the bottom. (7 mo. 3 weeks or so, very close to when Addison cut her first tooth) His smile is so adorable, he scrunches up his nose when he smiles and those two teeth are so cute!

No more O's :(

Will seems to be having a reaction to Cheerios. Well, not exactly the Cheerios brand, but the Trader Joe's version, called "Joe's O's." They are made of oats, so we're not sure if he's reacting to the oats, or something else. A couple of weeks ago, I first noticed his cheeks were bright red, and then in the bathtub, I noticed little raised bumps all over his body, including his face and forehead. It took 2 days after giving them to him, for me to notice the reaction. So we stopped, waited 2 weeks for it to clear up, and tried again. Low and behold, red cheeks again, 2 days later. Weird, huh? This picture is of the red cheeks, it's hard to see in the picture, but they were pretty red. Poor guy. And Cheerios are such a good finger food for little ones. I hope it's not too serious, like a gluten allergy. Yikes. We'll find out at his 9 month appt. in a couple of weeks.

Scary Fider

We have a "Scary Fider" in the house! Watch out! This scary fider is complete with scary legs (fingers) and a scary face. She lurks around the house, looking for people to scare. Be on the lookout. She might surprise you when you're least expecting it. She tends to come out when a particular tune is played on her brother's musical piano. It must bring out a spidery side to her. Check out her contorted fingers. Ha!
