We had another Lactation Consulation today and we found that Addison has surpassed her birth weight of 7lbs 3oz's by .8 oz's. That's right 7lbs 3.8 oz's. We were so happy because the four days of the strict feeding plan paid off. We are still on the strict feeding plan but that is all right because we are getting the hang of it.
Diane Vasey met us when we came home with a great lunch from the Pasta Co. It was a great lunch and we are having some more for dinner. She also did a little baby sitting while Anna and I took a little nap.

Wooohooo!! Congratulations Addison and tired Mom and Dad! We never thought the topic of weight gain would be so exciting. Everything is looking up from here. The pictures of Addison are so great. The changes from day to day and week to week are amazing. We are lounging around and Becca wants to know "Where can I get an adult pair of those comfy slippers?"

I said several prayers that Addison would gain weight, knowing full well that when she is "21" she will wish for prayers in the opposite direction. I know you both are pooped.... It gets better soon for a few years. Then you will lose sleep again in the teenage years....Life is wonderful....Keep up the good work!!!
