This is all Addison wants to do these days....nurse, nurse, nurse. And if she's not nursing she is happy for about 20 minutes, and then she falls apart. Are all babies like this? The hard thing is that she's hard to get to sleep, unless she's in her nursery, listening to her rain music. What have we created? I'm taking her to be weighed today just for piece of mind, to make sure she's still gaining. We're hoping that she's 9 lbs (at least) and her fussiness isn't due to lack of food.
Our mornings are good...she's very content and she likes to swing and fall asleep...then we nurse again (for an hour!) then repeat the process. Usually I need to go somewhere after the second feeding, so she's forced to go in the god-awful carseat and car...she doesn't like it! We burned a copy of the the rainstorm music for the car, anything to keep her calm! I know that things will get better and she'll start being more content and alert, but these last few days have been hard, and it seems like there's no end in sight! Grandma Sharron is helping me take her to the the dr. appt. today, because I have my 6 week OB check, and I can just foresee Addison having a meltdown in the OB's office! Thank goodness for Grandma!

Becca and Jeff say "Hang in there, Anna. You are doing so great! Lil' Addison is turning into such a cutie. "
Anna,
Jack was the same way....He cried a lot too. John and Corrie bounced him on one of those exercise balls...He still loves to bounce, but he is a BIG BOY now...Corrie can no longer bounce. John still bounces. I am going to send you one of their first short movie clips....You can see he is now a BIG BOY....
Addison is becoming a real sweetie.
