Ooh wah, Ooh wah, Cool Cool Kitty...Tell us about the girl from New York City!

We're back! And in one piece! The trip was fantastic, what an experience! Addison was quite the little traveller! Flying was no problem, she sat in our laps and played with her toys, nursed and slept, on ALL legs of our trip! Our first stop was in Nyack, NY, (just outside of NYC) to visit my cousins. We stayed two nights, and Addison had a ball playing with Jalin, Hala and Amara. We also had lunch with cousin Ndidi, and Addison met her cousins Miles and Mateo. Lots of new faces! It was so cute watching the kids with Addison, they were all over her, with lots of kisses! Amara was intent on teaching Addison how to crawl! The girls also gave us some live gymnastics performances, so adorable!

On Saturday, after a fabulous breakfast cooked by Everett, we headed into NYC. After checking into the hotel, we decided to hop on the subway and venture to Central Park. I was adamant on getting some pictures in the park with the fall leaves. Addison was bundled up with her fuzzy dog hat, gloves, and snuggled into the front pack. Chris zipped his coat around her, so only her face was showing. It was the cutest thing ever! As we walked around NYC, we heard comment after comment about how cute Addison looked... "Awwww, sooooo cute!" or "Look, look! Look at that baby!" We couldn't agree more, she was a sight to see! Addison loved her first trip to Central Park! We put her in the swing for the first time, and she went wild! How cool is it that her first time in a swing was in Central Park? The rest of the trip went smoothly...including my conference on Sunday. While I was at the conference, Chris and Addison ventured to Times Square...and the "cute comments" continued! We made it home last night at 10:30, so today we're trying to recover! We're relieved that all went well, and traveling with Addison is doable.
