Today Addison is 6 months old! We are in shock over how fast time has flown! We've come a long ways! It seems so long ago when my blog posts were mainly revolving around feeding and weight gain! We have a healthy, happy girl these days! She doesn't mind the crazy sleep patterns that we have going now, she just keeps smiling each day and doesn't miss a beat. Today Chris came to my parent-baby class with me....it was quite an eye-opener for him! It was cool for him to put faces to names that he's been hearing about for the past 6 months! It was also good for him to finally meet our instructor that I've been raving about, and who I often quote on a daily basis! After class, we rushed home, ate and had a quick cat nap, then went to our first Kindermusik class! Addison loved it! She was all smiles, loving the songs and movement. Nana offered to sign us up, so we couldn't turn that down! I don't want to get too over-booked with classes etc, because believe me, we could be busy every day of the week with all of the baby class offerings there are these days! Let's see, I have friends doing Baby Yoga, Water Babies, Little Gym, Kindermusik, Story time at the library and Park Place Books, PEPS, plus our Evergreen parent-baby class. Plus, there are little "side play groups" that have started from meeting all of these moms and babies! I've decided to NOT join the mayhem, and keep our week not too hectic, plus it's easier on our budget that way. These classes are not cheap! I'm happy with the schedule we have, and Addison seems to be content! That's all that counts, really. I think all of the classes are great, however it sometimes seems that it's more for the mom's, and a side-bonus that the babies actually enjoy them. I guess that if it keeps the mommies sane, then go for it!
On another note, we have Addison's 6 month check up on Friday, so we will be chatting about starting up solids again. I'm curious to see how much she weighs! Chris and I both think somewhere in the 16 pound range. She's been packing it on!

Happy half B-day Addison. You are really turning into quite a cute lil Jaross. I have to say I don't agree with the lookalike meter as the most striking feature you share with Daddy is a lack of hair...enjoy your half birthday. nice shoes!
Addison what an amazing time in your life! You are now closer to being 1 than you are to being a newborn! These next 6 months are really amazing. Keep the blogs coming so we can find out what you are doing!! P.S. Bailey says "hi"!
