35 Weeks!

I hit the 35 week mark on Sunday, and all is well! I'm feeling HUGE...and I still have a month to go! The unseasonably warm (HOT) weather is helping things...I've been lucky not to be swelling much, until TODAY! My toes look like little sausages...but no cankles, as of yet! I'm crossing my fingers! Today I had another ultrasound at Philips, and we weren't able to get a good picture of his face because he's down so low...which is good! So I came home with a CD filled with pictures of his "boy parts" and his feet. Ha!

My next appt. with the Dr. is next Monday, so we'll find out if I'm dilated at all, and what his position is. I have a sneaking suspicion that he's going to come before his July 5 due date, but I don't want to jinx it!
We also meet with the Doula next week, I'm so excited to start talking about our birth plan and how we "intend" for things to go, however I'm well aware that birth plans can often go out the window when unforeseen circumstances arise. We've ordered a labor tub, which I'm soooo excited for because baths really relax me, and when I've been having contractions lately (remember, my uterus is "highly sensitive!") taking a bath seems to calm things down a bit. Evergreen doesn't allow "water births" but I can do the majority of my labor in the tub. More details to follow next week once we see the Dr. and the Doula. :)

Don't you mean "skankles"? Remember when that's what your Dad thought they were called?

Can't wait for Will to get here!

Yeah! 35 weeks. It feels good, doesn't it! So are you planning at all to have a home birth or just want the tub for home labor? I am so excited for you . . . and you look great!

Yeah! It's crazy to think that both of my girls had popped out by this point - you're so close and you already have a ready to go little boy in there. That always tripped me out a bit. I don't know if you labored in the tub at all with Addison but as an FYI - it was really hard on my back during contractions with the angle of the tub. You might want to get a bath pillow - I had wished that I had one.

I can't wait to hear all the details! I hope you make it through the end of the year!
