One Eyed Willy

No, his name is NOT Willy, but I couldn't resist the reference to the movie GOONIES! Our laid back little guy is doing very well...at our appt. on Tuesday we found out that he's back to his birth weight, and slightly above it, weighing in at 7 lbs 1 oz. Yeah! He's a little porker! He's starting to really fill out, and we can see some chubs on his cheeks! He loves to eat, every 2 hours. I hardly have time to do anything else. Once he finishes, I usually pump, or do something else that's required of me, like take care of Addison, and then it seems like I'm back nursing again! I'm hoping that he'll stretch out his feedings to at least 3 hours apart very soon! He does give us 3 hours between feedings at night, which is a relief. One funny little thing he does is make the craziest "gutteral" noises...like he's been a 50 year smoker, trying to clear his throat! We giggle each time we hear it!

Addison is doing fairly well as a big sister, she definitely has her moments of jealousy, which is to be expected. For instance, when Will is crying and I move to pick him up, she says "No, pick Addison up!!!" She has been especially whiny lately, and defiant, not listening and doing her own thing. I know she will start to get used to the new addition to our family and realize that we have ENDLESS love for both of our cuties.

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary, 4 years, can you believe it? We went to dinner in Kirkland, and since Will is nursing every 2 hours, we brought him with us. Nana stayed home with Addison while she slept. Will slept in the car seat for almost our entire dinner, and then started wailing, so it was time to go! It was well worth it though, just to get out of the house and have some much needed alone time.

On another note, Will's newest friend was born yesterday, James William Sutherland! We can't wait to meet Kirsten and Jeff's little munchkin! Kirsten is a teacher friend of mine, and we were pregnant at the same time this school year, along with our other buddy, Jessica. Now we're all safely delivered and it's time to be Mamas! :)
