Our calm boy and chatty girl

It's been quite awhile since I've updated! Life with two young children is keeping me from updating as frequently as I'd like. Sorry!

Will:
What a sweet angel he is. He's calmed down tremendously. And the best part of all: NO MORE SCREAMING CAR RIDES! The static strip is working! Thanks to my friend, Janet, who recommended it to me! Apparently it's a common remedy for car sickness in Canada, she said you can buy them at the local hardware store. At first I was skeptical, thinking he was going to cry at any moment, but after the 3rd, 4th, 5th car ride with NO crying, I'm a believer now! We've had two meltdowns since we installed it, but one was because the bright sun was shining right in his face, and the other was because I strapped him in right when he was due to eat. Mean Mommy. I'm just so happy now that I'm not dreading putting him in the car anymore. Who knows, things could change at any moment, but for now, I'll take it!

Will continues to be our solid sleeper...at 11 weeks old, he's sleeping 10 hours straight at night! Unbelievable! He goes down for the night around 7:30, and his first waking is around 5:30 or 6! Addison turned out to be a good night time sleeper, but not this good, this early. The kicker is, he's not a great napper....he will take a pretty good morning nap (2 hours) but the afternoons are hard, he won't sleep for more than 2o minutes at a time. He's our little cat napper. It's hard for me to get anything done around the house, like laundry and the dishwasher....those things are sometimes impossible to do!

Will is full of smiles right now, and lots of leg kicking! He can really get those legs going! I came home from school today, and he was sitting in his bouncy seat, and when he saw me, he started cooing like crazy and pumping his legs back and forth! He knows his Mama!
As for the sour milk smell in his mouth...GONE! I think the Zantac has taken care of it. He's MUCH happier, not that he was super fussy to start with, but he had a slight edge to him before, like he was always on the verge of having a melt down, and now that has disappeared.

Addison:
Where do I begin? Let's start with the NON-STOP talking. Her mouth does not stop moving. Seriously. She's either asking a million questions, singing, or talking to herself....it doesn't stop. Her language continues to amaze us. She doesn't seem like a toddler anymore. She is talking in full sentences, and using correct grammar, which as a teacher, is so thrilling for me! Language development is so intriguing for me. I love listening to Addison put sentences together, trying out new ways of saying things and asking questions about certain words, etc. Her pronounciations are hysterical sometimes...helicopter is "heli-doctor" and diaper is "di-chur." When she starts pronouncing certain words correctly, I get kind of sad because she's growing up and I love her cute little pronounciations. :(
We're still dealing with some of the typical "jealous big sister" stuff...but things are getting better. Her latest is "Mommy, give Baby Brother to Daddy." She wants me to be free to play with her, read to her, etc.
We started our Kids in Motion class (we call it "jumping class") on Wednesday, and Toddler Group (co-op pre-school) on Thursday. I'll post some pictures later and give a "school" update.
All in all, we're doing well. Chris' new day schedule is nice, I feel like a normal person having him at home at night! Our camera is being fixed right now (UGH) so we've been snapping some still shots with our video camera, so I need to figure out how to get those posted. Soon!
