Addison's cold, that is. No fever, but the endless runny nose seems to prevail. Our doctor said this cold that's going around sticks around for quite awhile, with the rivers of snot sometimes lasting up to 3 weeks! She seems to be handling the annoyance of the stuffy nose okay, it's the CLINGING to mommy 24/7 that is making me crazy! I love snuggling with her, but I can't put her down for even a second without a hysterical meltdown. She even follows me into the bathroom!
She was her smiley self at Kindermusik today for the most part, laughing and bouncing around, but she did let out a couple of whines towards the end, which isn't normal for her. And don't you think she would sleep for HOURS because having a cold takes a lot out of you, etc.? Oh no. We only nap for 30 minutes. No more, no less. She did nap for two hours on my birthday, so maybe that was her birthday present to me! But since then, we're back to the 30 minute cat naps. I can't complain too much though, she's still sleeping for 11-12 hours each night.
The topic of our Parent/Baby group tomorrow is "Sleep & Your Growing Baby." Maybe I'll learn some magical trick to get her to nap....

The never ending cold. Interesting what your doctor said as Ashton has had his cold for almost 2 weeks. I feel your pain of having a clingy baby. I love Ashton's hugs but man it's nice to be able to go into another room without a loud scream. Hope Addison feels better soon!
