We learned a cute "clean-up" song at our Kindermusik class, and I've adapted it to all aspects of cleaning up at our house, not just our instruments at music class! Now Addison associates it with putting her toys away! In addition to the song, Addison has really been fascinated with putting items "into" containers. This is a common developmental leap that occurs around her age. Her dad likes to think that she's taking after his organizational skills. ;) Watch the video clip and you will see her putting her blocks away. She even gallops across the floor to grab one extra block she left out! She chimes in with some singing as well, and you will also see how proud she is of herself for putting the blocks away!
