Addison is full of sass these days, if that's possible for a 16 month old! She knows what she wants, and she lets us know! She's constantly nodding her head YES, which is so darn cute....but lately she's started nodding her head NO, which isn't so cute. That, coupled with "No No No No" has been all new for us! I'm trying to teach her to say "Yes Yes Yes Yes!" This afternoon was especially trying, partly because of the "new attitude" and mostly because of the sticky, 90 degree weather. We're learning that Addison is not a fan of the heat, and doesn't do well when overheated! Who does, right? We met her friends Claire and Bella at the beach yesterday, and when we left (we were only there for 45 minutes!) and walked to the car, the poor thing was sweating, bright red, and a complete wreck. Thank goodness for blasting AC in the car, and cheddar bunny snacks!
I've been delinquent on updating the blog lately, so I'm posting quite a few pictures on the photo site. We had a fun weekend at the cabin a couple weeks back....for the 50th Anniversary of Stetson's. Our cabin had 5 tents parked in front....it was quite the site! My dad had shirts made for the whole crew...we definitely stuck out! We joked that the "W" on the front of the shirts looked eerily like the "W" associated with a certain president....yikes!
Walking is old hat now...however the famous scoot makes an appearance now and then, especially when she wants to get somewhere really fast. She scooted across the sand at the beach the other day, putting us all into hysterics!
We're in the midst of another 2 week stint of swimming lessons. We're loving it! We're also so lucky with the weather, it's been perfect.
Off to post the pictures, and then bed. I'm sure the little darling will be up at the crack of dawn.
