Yesterday we had my 20 week ultrasound, and baby boy is looking GREAT! He's measuring right on target for a July 5 due date. It was fun watching him move around on the screen, and we even saw some hiccups! One interesting thing that we found out is that he's currently in a transverse position. This means that he is lying across my uterus, horizontally, instead of head down. It's still very early to worry about any of this now, there is plenty of time for him to do some gymnastics and flip so he's "head down!" If he's still in this position at 36 weeks, then we'll worry. In the meantime, my twice weekly yoga class should help! And maybe Addison banging around on my belly will get him to go down!
He's starting to kick and punch hard enough that Chris can feel it now, so it will be fun for Addison to feel him too! Maybe then she'll start to understand more that mommy isn't just eating too many cookies (well, actually I am!) but her baby brother is growing in there!
