Our little love bug enjoyed her 2nd Valentine's Day....she got a stuffed little kitty that she loves to carry around, holding it to her chest, saying "shhhhhh."
She's full of energy these days, and talking up a storm. Each day she reveals new language discoveries, which we love to listen and respond to! Yesterday she dropped something on the floor and I heard her say "Oh well!" She also loves the song "Baby It's Cold Outside" and she constantly asks to listen to it...and she's very persistent! "Mommy? Baby Cole Ou-side?" She loves to sing...always humming a tune, or singing the actual words to so many songs! She can sing Baa Baa Black Sheep very well, Chris and I are amazed! We will get it on video and post it. Nursery rhymes are her favorite, which we read and chant throughout the day, hence her knowing Baa Baa Black Sheep so well! Her other favorites are Hickory Dickory Dock, Humpty Dumpty, Hey Diddle Diddle, and of course ABC's!
Today she demanded to wear her ballerina tutu, and dance to the Lion King soundtrack. Whenever she puts on her tutu, she starts demanding "Song? Song?" and today she added the words "One more song?" while holding up her pointer finger like "One more!"
I think we'll be enrolling her in more music classes in the future! Maybe dance as well? When she's 3, I'd like to start her in a Suzuki music class, where they expose the kids to different instruments, such as the violin. We need to harness this musical energy!

Her outfit is too much! So cute. I hope you are feeling well have the energy to keep up with your dancing queen! She is so adorable and it will be interesting to see if she stays with music her whole life!
