New House

Addison "sploring" her new yard!

We recently moved out of my parents' house and into a darling rental. We've been living with our parents since September, so it was time to move into our own space and give Baba and Papa a break! We are in love with our new house, it's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath rambler, completely remodeled. I think the best part (other than in being brand new!) is the back yard. The owners put in a trex deck, and the yard is HUGE. They are planning on putting in grass for us in the next week or two, so Addison will be able to have a huge playground to run and explore. Right now it's full of weeds and dirt, and she's loving that too! We have plans to put in a garden and a small digging area for Addison. When we go outside I say to her "Addison, let's go explore!" so now she says "Splore, Mommy? Splore?"

The grand plan is to rent for 6+ months, and in the meantime, continue to save, pay off debt (what we lost on the sale of our house) and get ourselves in a position to buy. We have a neighborhood in the Bothell/Woodinville area that is our current number one contender, so we will probably make an offer on a lot/floor plan, and it will take 5-6 months to build.

We're now eagerly awaiting the birth of baby boy Jaross (well, not so eagerly, he has 13 more weeks to cook!) and getting things ready for life with two kiddos!
