Our Dancing Queen
Addison is addicted to the musical Mamma Mia! It was cute for a day or two, but now I'm so sick of the music, I can hardly handle it! I made the mistake of showing it to her (Nana let my mom borrow it) awhile back, and she loved it, but never mentioned it again. Nana showed it to her again last week, and now we're doomed. She demands to watch the DVD multiple times a day. Most times we tell her that Mamma Mia is sleeping, and she's tired from all the dancing and singing she does, but often that doesn't cut it. So instead of listening to the constant whining, we pop in the musical and let her dance away. She spins all around the living room, dancing to Dancing Queen, Honey Honey, Super Trouper, and of course her beloved Mamma Mia! She's so funny, Chris and I giggle while she's watching it because she tries to copy some of the dance moves....so adorable. She's even chiming in with some of the lyrics! I guess it could be worse, right?

Have you tired letting her watch the toddler singing group "Hi 5"? They are on in the morning on one of the upper channels (Discovery Kids), 121 at our house. They are also on ON DEMAND under Kids, Discovery Kids (have to scroll to 2nd page). Anyway Bailey is absolutely addicted to it, like Addison, Bailey is copying in the moves etc. We will have to have a "dancing" play date soon! Hope you post a video soon of your little Momma Mia! P.S. That was a fun night when we all went out and only you and I had the energy for the movie!

Anna, I remember when Jobi-Tate was about Addison's age and hooked on "The Lion King", she had her great aunt Cheryl watch it 5 times from start to finish in one day! It was like a full time job! - My only thought is "This too will pass!" ;-)
