No more dairy products for Mommy! After endless "poop scooping" for stool samples, we found out that Addison has a mild case of lactose intolerance. She's having difficulty digesting the lactose that is transferred into my breast milk from my dairy consumption. We realized that I should have a bell around my neck with all of the dairy I've been consuming! I guess the bowls of French Silk ice cream I've been eating every night wasn't sitting well with Addison! So...basically my milk isn't sticking to her. The good news is she gained 3 ounces so now she's 9 lbs 1.5 oz! Since she gained weight, I can keep breastfeeding and I'm cutting dairy from my diet for a few weeks. Hopefully she will start to pack on the pounds! Aside from her weight issues, she's happy for the most part, full of kicks, coos and smiles that make us melt. We love to watch her flail happily in her crib while she watches her mobile, it's the cutest thing to watch! We still need some practice with liking the car seat and stroller, it's not her favorite thing at the moment. We ventured out for a walk today and lasted only 5 minutes, down to get the mail and back. We have a "weigh-in" at the Dr.'s office next Friday, so hopefully we'll see a difference with mom's new torturous diet!

I hope Mommy cutting out the ice cream helps....You look healthy and are really getting to look more and more like you would like to learn Math....Ha!
