Mommy, I have an owie.

This phrase is repeated MULTIPLE times each day. Addison is obsessed with owies. She has owies on her fingers, legs, arms, guza (bottom) and she tells us about them all day long. The truth is, she has a couple bruises on her shins, like ALL 2 year olds have, and maybe a hang nail or two from picking at her fingers, but nothing that requires any attention, that's for sure! Not too long ago, she wouldn't come close to a band aid....she refused to let us put one on her skinned knee. Now, she demands band aids all day long, I'm not sure why she wants them all of a sudden. I've tried to explain that band aids are only for owies that have blood, but I don't think she gets it. I know this is a phase that all kids go through....at least I'm hoping that it is a phase! If not, we have a hypochondriac on our hands!
