We ventured to the South 47 Farm's pumpkin patch on Saturday, and what a beautiful day it was! A perfect, crisp, autumn day. Addison and Chris went for a hay ride, while I stayed back and walked Will around to get him to fall asleep. The South 47 Farm is perfect for kids....they have a field of already picked pumpkins, a corn maze, hay rides, a few goats/chickens/alpacas/ducks...very family friendly. Addison picked up her first pumpkin, and proceeded to scratch her cheek with the sharp stem...which of course led to lots of whining. She picked a pumpkin for herself, and one for baby brother. 2 year olds don't really take much time to search-out the perfect pumpkin, they just grab the first one they come across. Pumpkin picking goes very quickly! After she picked her pumpkins, Daddy gave her a wheelbarrow ride and she was in heaven. The pumpkin patch had to come to an end because Mommy and Daddy needed to rush home to watch the Husky/Notre Dame game. Football is a priority! :)
