Addison LOVES ketchup. In fact, last week, she asked for ketchup on her pancakes! What in the world have we done to her? :) She loves to dip anything in it, and sooner or later it just becomes her fingers that she's dipping, while sucking off the ketchup! We've tried to limit it because it's so acidic and her little bottom can't handle it!
Here's another funny story. So as you probably already know, we're house hunting. Last weekend we were driving around the Juanita area, and we pulled up to a stoplight. From the backseat we hear "Mmmmmm, nunny nunny, mmmmmmmm, nunny nunny!" (translated: mmmm, yummy yummy!) I look to ahead, and we are sitting right next to the GOLDEN ARCHES. How could she know what McDonald's is? I'm dying of thirst and a diet coke sounded good, so we pull in. We're in the drive-thru, and Addison is screaming "French Fry! French Fry!" Chris and I could not believe what we were hearing. Addison has NEVER in her life been to McDonald's. How could this have happened? She's had her share of fries, but she's never stepped foot in a McD's or even the drive-thru. I'm a Wendy's girl, for heaven sakes! We have no idea where this "understanding" of the golden arches came from. Maybe TV? But she only watches PBS Sprout, and there aren't McD's commercials on that station. Who knows. Maybe a Grandma secretly took her there? They both swear that they haven't! It's the McDonald's mystery. If anyone can solve it, please let me know!

I have always encouraged my kids to dip things because it seems to get them interested and eat more. But as babies, they always ended up sucking ketchup, tartar sauce, ranch, you name it off their hands and it looks disgusting! And the story about McDonalds is so funny! Where do they learn these things?
I think McD's sneaks in at night and feeds our children nuggets and french fries! When we go there we always play so when Bailey sees McD's she screams "PLAAAAA" for miles!
