The Sun is Out!

Addison said these four words yesterday, while pointing to the sun peeking out from the clouds! I couldn't believe my ears! She's really starting to put sentences together...we're amazed at how her language is developing! She's really into telling us if something "is on" or "is off" such as lights, the stove, music, etc. She hasn't seen too much sun lately, so when the sun was out last week, she demanded to wear her sunglasses (so adorable) and she was learning how the sun is bright, and it can hurt our eyes, etc. Some of our conversations must have stuck, because when she saw the sun yesterday, "The Sun is Out!" came out of her mouth!

Cousin Kayla came over tonight, Addison's favorite person in the world. She ran over to Kayla and hugged her legs, saying "Kayla!!!!" She follows Kayla around, like a little puppy. We're grooming Kayla as a babysitter, even as we speak! She has a couple more years, and then mom and dad are putting her to work!

This picture is hilarious....we're trying to give Addison some "no clothes" time periodically, because she has a diaper rash that just won't go away. Tonight she decided that she needed to accessorize her look, with a lovely set of reindeer antlers, and a fashionable scarf. Look how she's crossing her legs!
